What Cracked is
Cracked is an AI ad studio. Creators make short video ads for small shops with AI, a person at Cracked checks every ad, and Cracked sells them to the shops.
When a shop pays for an ad, it buys it from Cracked. Cracked is the seller, takes the payment through Stripe, and pays the creators who made it their share.
For shops
A shop watches its ad free, with Cracked's mark on it. $49 keeps it: the clean file, no mark.
A kept ad is yours to use in your own shop's marketing, anywhere: your ads, your posts, your site. A refund ends that.
Monthly ads are 4 new ads a month for $99 a month. If you kept an ad first, your first month is $50. They renew each month until you stop them, and you can stop any time from the link on your page; you keep the month you paid for.
Prices and what each one includes are on the page where you pay. Stripe holds your card details; we never see them.
We make a shop's ads from its own public pages, photos and reviews. If something in yours isn't the shop's to use, tell us and we'll stop using it.
For creators: who you are to Cracked
Creators are independent contractors who make ads for Cracked. You aren't Cracked's employee, partner or agent. You choose when and how you work and which tools you use, and you handle your own taxes.
An ad you send for a check is work you make for Cracked. Once a person at Cracked approves it, Cracked may sell it, show it and let the shop that buys it use it, and a shop's right to it doesn't end if you leave. You may still show it as your own work.
You promise every ad you send is yours to give: you made it, you have the rights to everything in it (music, voices, faces, footage, photos and words), and it follows the content policy.
If you give an AI a key to your account, what it does counts as you.
When you message a shop, you send it yourself, as yourself. Say you're a creator on Cracked. No spam, no fake reviews, and never pretend to be the shop or Cracked.
For creators: what you're paid
When a shop pays Cracked, the creator who made its ads gets 70% of what it pays for them. The creator who brought the shop gets 10% of everything it pays for a year from its first payment, whoever makes its ads. Cracked keeps the rest: 20% when both are paid. Shares are worked out on what the shop paid, less tax.
A share is yours once that payment's 7 days to refund are over. A refunded payment pays no share.
If a payment is refunded or lost to a dispute after its share was paid to you, that share comes off your next payout.
Every payment keeps the terms it was made under: a change to these numbers never rewrites a share already promised.
If someone starts the $80 challenge through your link, you earn $12 once their 7 days to refund are over. It's one level only, never for your own purchase, and it's taken back if they're refunded. Everything else you earn comes from shops paying and from views.
Cracked pays the rates on this page and nothing more. We don't promise you'll sell an ad, get views or earn anything.
For creators: getting paid for views
Cracked will pay for views on its own ads that you post, under the rules here, once view pay opens. It isn't open yet.
The rate is $2 per 1,000 views ($1 on YouTube), up to $50 a post. Once Cracked has paid $2,000 of view pay in all, ads approved after that earn $1 per 1,000. A post keeps the rate it had when its ad was approved.
Each approved ad gets a place while the budget has room: $500 in all for this run, $1,000 a week, and up to 10 posts a creator a week. Link your post within 3 days of approval. When places are short in a week, people in the challenge get theirs first.
We pay for the views a post gains after you link it, read by Cracked from the post itself, at 24 hours and at day 7.
Nothing is paid before a person checks the post at day 10: it's still up, it's on your own account, and it carries the platform's paid-partnership or ad label. A post taken down before day 10 earns nothing, and anything paid on it comes off your next payout.
Some things pause a post's pay until a person looks: views 20 times the account's followers or more (past 10,000 views), fewer than 2 likes per 1,000 views (past 10,000), or 20,000 paid views without one visit through your link. The person either clears it or forfeits its pay and tells you why.
Cracked's own accounts earn no view pay.
For creators: payouts
Payouts are made through PayPal, to the PayPal email or Venmo you save in Settings. They go out every Monday for everything you're owed, once it's $5 or more; under $5, it waits for the next Monday. Your first payout goes out the day you're first owed $5, without waiting. Cracked pays the payout fee.
To be paid you must be 18 or older and say so in Settings, and save where your payouts go. PayPal decides where it can send money. A payout nobody claims in 30 days comes back to Cracked and goes out again once you check where it goes.
We may ask for your tax details, and what you're paid may be reported to tax authorities as the law requires.
We can stop an account that breaks these terms or the content policy, fakes views, or isn't who it says it is. An account stopped for good isn't paid what it hadn't been paid yet.
The challenge and credits
The challenge is $80: 120 credits for Cracked's ad maker and the whole course. Earn $80 cleared from 3 or more approved ads within 30 days and you pass; you can also pass free, at 150,000 cleared views. You don't need the challenge to earn on Cracked, and passing it doesn't promise income.
Credits pay for makes on Cracked's maker. They aren't money: they can't be cashed out or given to someone else.
Fair use
Don't use Cracked for anything illegal, hateful or deceptive, or to get around a limit, scrape the site or copy our tools. We can refuse an ad and stop an account that does.
If something goes wrong
Cracked is provided as it is. We fix what breaks as fast as we can, but we can't promise it never will.
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses (like lost profits), and our total liability to you is at most what you paid us, or we paid you, in the 12 months before the problem.
New Mexico law applies. Email us first: almost everything gets sorted that way.
Changes
When these terms change, the new version goes here with its date. A change never rewrites a payment already made or a share already promised.
